Two sources tell us how long the line is. Universal publishes its own wait times, and Queue-Times.com publishes a set of its own. We read both every ten minutes, five minutes apart, and keep every reading.
Universal is what we show you, because it is first-party and because it reports things Queue-Times cannot — Express and single-rider lines, and the difference between a ride that is briefly delayed and one that has been dark for months. Queue-Times is the fallback, and it covers four walkthroughs Universal never lists.
They do not always agree. Rather than pick a winner and hope, we publish the disagreement.
That last number is the one worth watching. If it hovers near zero, the two sources are merely noisy against each other. If it settles somewhere clearly above or below zero, one of them is consistently reading the park differently from the other — and that is a finding, not a rounding error.
